Black Male Educators Speak
Today we wanted to spend time amplifying the voices of some amazing Black educators. Education Post together with the Campaign for Black Male Achievement (CBMA) published the Black Male Educators Speak video series, a fantastic series focusing on the stories of four Black male teachers in four different cities, exploring the innovative teaching methods they use to engage Black students.
The videos take an inside look at their schools in Philadelphia, Detroit, New York, and Oakland, and discuss how they approach their subjects and classrooms: social justice, literature and critical thinking, STEM, and a unique Manhood Development Program.
Instead of hearing from us this week, we encourage you to check out this powerful video series and learn more about the school where they teach and the lives they are impacting.
