Beto O’Rourke recently called for, “...cities that are smarter, denser, that have people living close to where they work and where their families are to reduce our impact on climate change and greenhouse gas emissions but also just to improve the quality of life in these built environments…” and his comments went viral. We all care about healthy neighborhoods and less commuting, so how do we make it a reality?
Recently, CBS Sunday Morning Show featured a special called, “Cracking the Code of Dyslexia,” describing Dr. Sally Shaywitz and Dr. Bennett Shaywitz’s research that found that 1 in 5 students are dyslexic. Given the right set of tools, dyslexic students can learn to read and thrive in the classroom. But the typical classroom setting often cannot meet the needs of these students.
