Feeling like you need some good news this January? A fascinating report recently came out of Florida on the impact of school choice options for Black students and Black educators. Ironically, there has been little attention paid by news outlets and the general public.
Take, for example, the number of black-owned schools in Florida. There are now 63 Black-owned schools in the state of Florida while its neighboring state, Georgia, only has 14 Black-owned schools.
