At Standing Rock Reservation, parents are making big news. They want to educate their children in traditional ways, believing that it will deeply impact their children’s identities and traditions. Although it is an uphill battle, these parents will do anything to build the right education for their kids. So, why is it these parents are allowed to share their culture and values but other’s can’t?
